EXCHANGE

You can exchange your gold jewellery at any Malabar Gold & Diamonds outlets globally with a valid invoice. Diamond/precious gem jewellery can be exchanged at any outlets globally (except India) with a valid invoice

  • Within 15 days of purchase:
  • You can exchange your jewellery at full value, provided the jewellery is in its original condition. Only one such exchange will be permitted against an invoice.
  • After 15 days of purchase:
  • Gold & Platinum component of your jewellery can be exchanged at prevailing price.
  • On diamond & precious gem jewellery (Mine, Era, Viraaz), you are eligible for 100% of prevailing price of diamonds and 75% of prevailing price of natural stones (Ruby, Emerald & Blue Sapphire)
  • On Precia gem jewellery, you are eligible for 75% of prevailing price of natural stones (Ruby, Emerald & Blue Sapphire)
  • For jewellery sold at a fixed retail price, you are eligible for 80% of the invoice value (excluding tax)

CASH BUYBACK

  • You can return your gold jewellery at any Malabar Gold & Diamonds outlets globally with a valid invoice. Diamond/precious gem jewellery can be returned at any outlets globally (except India) with a valid invoice and diamond certificate.
  • Standard rate deduction policy on prevailing price of gold will be applicable on the gold component of your jewellery.
  • On Mine diamond jewellery, you are eligible for 90% of prevailing price of diamonds and 70% of prevailing price of natural stones (Ruby, Emerald & Blue Sapphire).
  • On Viraaz & Era jewellery, you are eligible for 80% of prevailing price of diamonds and 70% of prevailing price of natural stones (Ruby, Emerald & Blue Sapphire).
  • On Precia gem jewellery, you are eligible for 70% of prevailing price of natural stones (Ruby, Emerald & Blue Sapphire)
  • On platinum jewellery, you are eligible for 96% of prevailing price of platinum.
  • For jewellery sold at a fixed retail price, you are eligible for 70% of the invoice value (excluding tax).

ASSURED LIFETIME MAINTENANCE

Malabar Gold & Diamonds assures Lifetime Maintenance and repairs of ornaments across any of its outlets globally.

  • Replacement or addition of Diamonds, Uncut Diamonds, Precious Gems, Platinum & Gold will be charged at prevailing prices.

CUSTOMER ORDERS

  • You can place customized orders and fix gold rate by paying 50% of the estimated value of jewellery.
  • All customer orders should be collected within 1 month of the date of delivery mentioned in the voucher, by producing the original voucher.

DISCRETION OF RIGHTS

  • The company reserves the right to exercise discretion in permitting all exchanges, cash buybacks and the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.

T&Cs

  • For exchange within 15 days of purchase:
  • Any gift / gift voucher etc. issued at the time of purchase should be returned or the value of the same will be deducted accordingly. Only one such exchange will be permitted with an invoice.
  • For exchange in a different country; gold price, levied value addition & other charges in that country will be applicable.
  • For exchange after 15 days of purchase:
  • Original invoice and diamond certificate is required.
  • Making charges, taxes and stone weight (Synthetic/semi-precious colour stones, beads, pearls & zircon) will be completely deducted.
  • All exchange/cash buyback will be subject to a quality check by our Quality department or by a certified laboratory as required, which can take up to 4 working days.

  • All taxes, duties and fees as applicable based on the local law, to be borne by the customer.
  • Cash payments for buyback shall be made only by way of an account payee cheque, which may take 7-10 days and the same shall only be made in the name of the customer as per the invoice.
  • Exchange of ornaments in part is not allowed.
  • For exchange or cash buyback of custom made or altered products, only “Exchange after 15 days of purchase” & “Cash Buyback” policies stated above will be applicable.
  • Original advance receipt is mandatory for redemption of any advance against a purchase. Refund of an advance is subject to management decision on a case-to-case basis.
  • Prevailing Price = Gross price less the % discount offered during purchase.
  • Certain jewellery that cannot be repaired due to its manufacturing process is excluded from our assured lifetime maintenance policy.
