Suppose you enrol in the Golden Bloom plan with a monthly commitment of 5000/- on the first of every month. At the time of maturity, you would have paid eleven monthly instalments i.e 55,000/- in total. Let us assume that at the date of purchase, the gold rate for 22 kt purity is 5030/- per gram. At this gold rate, with the advanced amount you can purchase 10.934 grams of 22kt gold.

*As per this plan, you need not pay any value addition up to 18% on purchase of ornaments up to 10.934 grams. For ornaments of higher weights, value addition benefit will apply up to 10.934 grams and the excess weight will carry usual value addition calculated upon the gold rate on the date of purchase.

Suppose you enrol in the Golden Glow plan with a monthly commitment of Rs. 5000/- on the first of every month.

In April,
Monthly Investment: ₹5,000
22K Gold Rate per gram: Rs. 4750*
Accumulated gold weight per month: 1.053g

In May,
Monthly Investment: ₹5,000
22K Gold Rate per gram: Rs. 4775*
Accumulated gold weight per month: 1.047g

In June,
Monthly Investment: ₹5,000
22K Gold Rate per gram: Rs. 4655*
Accumulated gold weight per month: 1.074g

Suppose, at the end of the commitment period, you have accumulated 11.338 grams* then you need not to pay value addition up to 14% on purchase of ornaments 11.338 grams* and the excess weight will carry usual value addition calculated upon the gold rate on the date of purchase.
